Set in a kingdom where danger lurks beneath the sea, mermaids seek vengeance with song, and magic is a choice, Adalyn Grace’s All the Stars and Teeth is a thrilling fantasy for fans of Stephanie Garber’s Caraval and Sarah J. Maas’s Throne of Glass series.
She will reign.
As princess of the island kingdom Visidia, Amora Montara has spent her entire life training to be High Animancer—the master of souls. The rest of the realm can choose their magic, but for Amora, it’s never been a choice. To secure her place as heir to the throne, she must prove her mastery of the monarchy’s dangerous soul magic.
When her demonstration goes awry, Amora is forced to flee. She strikes a deal with Bastian, a mysterious pirate: he’ll help her prove she’s fit to rule, if she’ll help him reclaim his stolen magic.
But sailing the kingdom holds more wonder—and more peril—than Amora anticipated. A destructive new magic is on the rise, and if Amora is to conquer it, she’ll need to face legendary monsters, cross paths with vengeful mermaids, and deal with a stow-away she never expected… or risk the fate of Visidia and lose the crown forever.
I am the right choice. The only choice. And I will protect my kingdom.
Dearest Reader,
I am so incredibly excited to be a part of the Fierce Reads All the Stars and Teeth Blog tour! This book is a fast paced ride full of magic, mayhem, and delightfully dangerous sea creatures. This book already has a killer Goodreads rating (4.10!), and the acclaim and gushing reviews are everywhere.
Teeth boasts a cast of strong female characters that have no problem using their strength. You won’t find any wilting flowers here, but you will find a mix of powerful women who will do whatever it takes to protect those that they love. Speaking of love, if you’re a fan of swoony romance, this book is definitely for you. The enemies-to-lovers trope is strong in Teeth, and I think it will appeal to a wide audience. I mean, who doesn’t love a snarky and handsome pirate?

Hands down, my favorite aspect of the book are the sea creatures. I don’t want to give anything away, but I will say that this book fully awakened my fear of giant sea monsters and fed my love of all things mermaid. What’s that? A mermaid you say? Oh yes, Teeth has one of my favorite mermaid characters I’ve read to date! She’s powerful and deadly and so morally gray I don’t think she could ever come clean (nor would she want to).
All the Stars and Teeth is quintessential YA fantasy that’s perfect for fans of books like Caraval, Stalking Jack the Ripper, and There Will Come A Darkness. The book releases on February 4 (that’s just a few days!), so there is still time to preorder your copy! I’m also hosting a giveaway over on my instagram (@thespookybookworm), so head on over there and try your luck to win a finished copy!
