M O N D A Y⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ➵ I can’t get over 2019. The books coming out are just growing my tbr by leaps and bounds. I thought I’d do a little post about a few of the ones I’m longing for. Aside from Wicked Saints, which I already read, these are all slated for my February tbr. Run over and add them your list! ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ — The Ruin of Kings by Jenn Lyons (Feb 4) is an adult fantasy being compared to the likes of Sanderson and Rothfuss. If you’re looking for an epic fantasy to dig your teeth in to, this one sounds exquisite. ⠀⠀ — Wicked Saints by Emily A. Duncan (April 2) is my favorite read of the year, so far. In the author’s own words, “For all your dark fantasy about girls with daggers, alcoholic princes, melodramatic goth boys & Slavic cosmic horror monsters needs!” ⠀⠀ — Descendant of the Crane by Joan He (April 2) is a gorgeous Chinese-inspired fantasy by a debut author. Young heroines and a world of deception are within these pages. ⠀⠀ — Upon A Burning Throne by Ashok K. Banker (April 16) is being pitched as the Indian Game of Thrones. So, I’m in! ⠀⠀ — Blood Heir by Amélie Wen Zhao (June 4) is a DARK Anastasia retelling and I am here for it. It’s already getting rave reviews over on Goodreads. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ ➵ QOTD: Are any of these on your tbr? And what’s another book you just can’t wait for? ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀
